Installation

Step 1: Download and Extract

1. Download the extension (link above)

2. Extract the ZIP file

Step 2: Install to Premiere Pro

macOS:

# Copy to extensions folder
sudo cp -r ZorgSubtitle "/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensions/"

# Enable unsigned extensions
defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1

Windows:

1. Extract ZIP file

2. Copy `ZorgSubtitle` folder to: `C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\`

3. Open Registry Editor (regedit.exe) as Administrator

4. Navigate to: `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\CSXS.11`

5. Create String Value: `PlayerDebugMode` = `1`

Step 3: Restart Premiere Pro

Completely quit and relaunch Premiere Pro.

Step 4: Open Extension

In Premiere Pro: Window > Extensions > Zorg Subtitle

Setup Your API Key

Get Your API Key

1. Go to zorgsubtitle.com/dashboard/api-keys

2. Click "Create API Key"

3. Select permissions: `read:videos`, `write:videos`, `read:subtitles`, `write:subtitles`

4. Copy your API key (starts with `zs_live_...`)

Connect Extension

1. Open the Zorg Subtitle panel in Premiere Pro

2. Paste your API key

3. Click "Connect"

How to Use

1. Select Sequence

• Open your sequence in Premiere Pro
• Click "Get Active Sequence" in the extension

2. Export & Upload

• Choose quality: Medium or High
• Click "Export & Upload Video"
• Wait 2-5 minutes (depends on video length)

3. Generate Subtitles

• Select language (or use Auto-detect)
• Click "Generate Subtitles"
• Processing takes 1-2 minutes per video minute

4. Import to Timeline

• Click "Import Subtitles to Timeline"
• Subtitles appear as SRT on your video track
• Edit using Premiere's caption tools

Translation (Optional)

To create subtitles in multiple languages:

1. Complete transcription first

2. Select target language

3. Click "Translate Subtitles"

4. Click "Import to Timeline" again

Each language imports as a separate caption track.

Troubleshooting

Extension doesn't appear in menu?

• Check extension is in correct folder
• Verify PlayerDebugMode is enabled
• Restart Premiere Pro completely

Export fails?

• Ensure sequence is selected
• Check available disk space
• Try lower quality preset

Upload timeout?

• Check internet connection
• Files over 2GB may fail
• Split long videos into parts

Import issues?

• Verify transcription completed
• Ensure you have a video track
• Try manual SRT import
